Artist Statement

The Saturn V rocket was a “heavy lift” vehicle meant to carry people into space. It was to send man into the earth’s orbit. It was first launched in 1967 in the Apollo missions.


I used fusibles and beading on my quilt. It machine quilted and beaded.


I used cotton and upholstery fabric, tulle, Angelina fiber, crystals and beads and velvet.
